O Cessate di piagarmi, is an Aria from the opera Il Pompeo by Alessandro SCARLATTI (1660 – 1725), Italian Baroque composer, known especially for his operas and chamber cantatas. He is considered the most important representative of the Neapolitan school of opera. He was the father of two other composers, Domenico Scarlatti and Pietro Filippo Scarlatti.
Gaspar Sanz wrote his book “Music Instruction on the Spanish Guitar” in 1674, which includes these four popular dances, written for solo guitar in dotted style. Here they are presented in an arrangement for Guitar Trio, also valid for guitar orchestra.

Pasacalle belongs to Quinteto (Night Music of the Streets of Madrid), op. 30 No. 6 (G. 324) of Luigi Bocherini.
Luigi Bocherini, is a Italian composer in service to the Spanish Court from 1761 to 1805. Night Music of the Streets of Madrid describes the bustling streets of night-time Madrid. Arrangement by guitar trio sheetmusic, with optional bass. Also valid for guitar orchestra.

The Pavane in F-sharp minor, Op. 50, is a pavane by the French composer Gabriel Fauré written in 1887. Obtaining its rhythm from the slow processional Spanish court dance of the same name, the Pavane ebbs and flows from a series of harmonic and melodic climaxes, conjuring a haunting Belle Époque elegance “Apoyando” and “Tirando”. GUITAR QUARTET
The Suite for Jazz Orchestra No. 1 by Dmitri Shostakovich was composed in 1934. It has three movements:
Waltz in G minor
Polka in C major
Foxtrot in F-sharp minor

Primavera porteña (Buenos Aires Spring) is written in 1970 by Astor PIAZZOLLA. The piece was scored for his quintet of violin (viola), piano, electric guitar, double bass and bandoneón. By giving the adjective porteño, referring to those born in Buenos Aires, the Argentine capital city, Piazzolla gives an impression of the four seasons in Buenos Aires.
