Written in 1930 by Hoagy Carmichael (music) and Stuart Gorrell (lyrics), the most famous version of “Georgia on My Mind” was recorded by Ray Charles in 1960 for his album The Genius Hits the Road. It has been performed by numerous artists over the decades, including Louis Armstrong, Willie Nelson, Michael Bublé, and many others.
