In this first level, the sheet music offers the following aspects of technical performance:
Right hand: Touch Rest Stroke “Apoyando”, supporting the index and middle fingers on the first three guitar strings and in some exceptional cases on the fourth string. Use of the thumb for melodic designs on the bass strings (4th, 5th and 6th).
Left hand: Placement of the hand primarily in the first position, and in some cases in the 2ª position. Primary use of fingers 1, 2 and 3 and minimum use of finger 4.
The sheet music is easy to read with simple rhythms, comfortable tonalities, few sharps and flats in the key signature and very few accidentals (sharps and flats).
